Study: Temperature adaptation effects on BAT metabolism
show Abstracthide Abstract
We are reporting here the effects of adaptation to different ambient temperatures in the whole genome gene expression of interscapular BAT Overall design: B6/J mice were adapted to three different ambient temperatures (30ºC, 22ºC and 6ºC) for a period of 4 weeks.
Sample: T5
SAMN06606444 • SRS2051058 • All experiments • All runs
Organism: Mus musculus
Library:
Instrument: Illumina HiSeq 2000
Strategy: RNA-Seq
Source: TRANSCRIPTOMIC
Selection: cDNA
Layout: SINGLE
Construction protocol: Tissues were disrupt using Tysseu lyser and Qiazol reagent. Further total RNA isolation was done using the RNeasy Quiagen Kit. Contaminating DNA was eliminated with DNA-Free kit from Ambion. RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols
